Cassidy and her husband have been training animals professionally for over 16 years. Both began their careers as handlers for the U.S. Navy Marine Mammal Program, where they trained dolphins and sea lions for complex tasks in real-world environments. Today, Cassidy leads Better Buds K9 with the same commitment to clear communication, trust-based methods, and lasting results. She brings advanced animal behavior techniques into everyday dog training to help pets become confident companions.

Behind the scenes, her husband supports the business through his work training dogs for Department of Defense and Law Enforcement contracts, including dogs with high-drive and aggression cases. Together, they offer the experience and skill to train everything from the family pup to the toughest working dog.
